About Miriam

Miriam Amen, NP, is a highly skilled and compassionate healthcare provider who is dedicated to serving the Southeast Michigan community. Born and raised in Michigan, Miriam has a deep understanding of the area and the people she serves.
Miriam’s passion for helping others led her to pursue a degree in Nursing, starting with her Associate’s degree from Henry Ford College. She then went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Ohio University and her Master’s in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University College.
With a wealth of experience in both Emergency Medicine and Family Practice, Miriam is well-equipped to provide a wide range of healthcare services to her patients. She has worked as an Emergency Medicine Registered Nurse and has since transitioned to a Practitioner in Emergency Medicine. After four years of service at Garden City Hospital, Miriam joined the team at the Family Doc Clinic & Urgent Care in Dearborn Heights, where she works alongside Dr. Ali Nasrallah to provide quality, compassionate care to her patients.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Miriam is also passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and wellness. She offers lifestyle coaching and women’s health services, in addition to primary and urgent care, to help her patients achieve their best health.
When she’s not caring for her patients, Miriam enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and traveling.
